Lizzy McAvoy

BIO
In 2007, Lizzy McAvoy left Ohio to pursue her dreams in Nashville, TN.
Within three months of her move, fate put her in front of Mike Doyle at
Major Bob Music at a Pitch to Publisher Night in the office of the Nashville
Songwriters' Association International. Major Bob Music is a premier
publisher best known for working with Garth Brooks and The Band Perry. In
April 2009, then 18 year old Lizzy, signed with the company, joining a team
involved in over 30 gold and platinum certified albums and the sale of over
130 million records.

Lizzy's songwriting and performing talents have been recognized on national
television. At age thirteen, she was a finalist on the NBC television
program America's Most Talented Kid. She penned an original holiday song,
"The Best Way to Spend the Holiday," which was featured on The Early Show on CBS. Additionally, Lizzy has won several awards. She was given the Leon
Brettler Award by the ASCAP Foundation. She also received recognition in a
variety of contests like the International Songwriting Competition and the
NSAI/CMT Song Contest.

She discovered her love for production after being introduced to Pro Tools.
Since then, Lizzy has been playing, engineering and producing her own tracks
on songs like, "Missin'", "You Do", and "Us". Throughout the tracks you'll
hear her picking on the banjo, electric guitar, acoustic guitar, Irish
Bouzouki and bass. Lizzy continues to create a unique and fresh sound while
still letting her charming personality shine through.
